Pinner WI, a branch of the national WI, was formed in 1968. We currently have 30 members and would welcome more.

As well as monthly meetings to socialise and hear talks from a wide variety of speakers, we have two book clubs, walks in good weather and sightseeing trips around London.

Our members also participate in charity work, including care of the garden surrounding the cancer wards at Mount Vernon Hospital and collecting for the Harrow Food Bank.  For a number of years Pinner WI has contributed knitted items and other gifts to Operation Christmas Child (the "shoebox" charity).

We are involved with the Middlesex Federation of WIs and the UK organisation (220,00 members) to campaign on topical issues of interest to members.
